We’ve called it a capelet. And a poncho. And a cowl. With all its versatility, we love our Shoulder Cozy’s wide, bell-like shape—it fits comfortably around your shoulders and is generously squishy when scrunched up around your neck!

This version of our Shoulder Cozy, knit in faux fur Sirdar , is an updated nod to gorgeous, vintage accessories. Alpine is a bulky-weight yarn that’s akin to a fringed ribbon crafted entirely in polyester. Superbly soft and supremely pettable, this yarn is machine washable—perfect for this retro-inspired cozy!

FINISHED SIZES
Small/Medium: Approx. 16"/41cm long when flat; fits up to 56"/142cm around shoulders (bust arms).
Large/Extra Large: Approx. 18"/46cm long when flat; fits up to 60"/152cm around shoulders (bust arms).
Directions are given for Small/Medium; Large/Extra Large in parentheses.

YARN
6 (11) skeins (36 yds/33m each); or approx. 229 (393) yds/209 (359)m of an equivalent superchunky-weight yarn.

US 13 (9mm) 24" circular needles (or size to obtain gauge);
Darning needle to finish.
