When Franco Moschino created a collection for his 10 year retrospective, he included this version of his 1989 black 2 piece dinner suit. We have included an image of the jacket on the runway from that show. The pieces he chose to have in this show were those he was the most proud of from his career. We think this suit is a perfect example of Moschino's sharp wit and playful re-interpretation of a classic garment. 

The jacket is open front and cropped featuring lightweight gold tone forks, knives and spoons and the slim skirt has spoons at the top of the hips. It is an unmistakable Moschino piece and is in the Met's permanent costume collection.
